Abstract

The article aims to analyze the influence and integration of scientific research in the training of legal professionals in Ecuador. This research follows a descriptive approach. Scientific research in jurisprudence is perceived as crucial, but faces challenges such as limited access to sources and lack of time. The vital importance of jurisprudence in legal decision-making and in adapting the law to social changes in Ecuador is emphasized. Despite its value, challenges like restricted access to legal resources and the lack of incentives for scientific research call for strategies such as professional incentives and training in research methodologies to strengthen the legal field in the country.
