Strengthening of soft skills in young entrepreneurs from the Sabana Centro Province, Cundinamarca – Colombia

The objective of this research was to strengthen soft skills in young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 28 in Sabana Centro Province, Colombia. A descriptive study with a qualitative approach using Participatory Action Research methodology was conducted. The population consisted of young entrepreneurs selected through purposive sampling. Data collection techniques and instruments included diagnostics, training workshops, and initial and final evaluations using virtual questionnaires comprising 36 questions. The results of the initial diagnosis indicated that the most needed soft skills were communication, teamwork, and innovation. Subsequently, after the implementation of the workshops, the final evaluation demonstrated a favorable impact on the strengthening of these skills. It is concluded that the intervention contributed to the personal and professional development of the participating young entrepreneurs.
