Padlet offers multiple benefits for English learners since it allows them to develop the four essential linguistic skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. The objective of this work is to implement a methodological strategy for the training of teachers with the use of the Padlet tool for the development of linguistic competencies. Research is developed with a quantitative, experimental, applied, transversal and correlational approach. Theoretical methods are used in the preparation of the applied instruments, empirical methods for the diagnosis and verification of the results, and statistical methods for their processing such as Cronbach analysis, R Square, Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Shapiro-Wil tests, Chi Square, Spearman and Iadov index and NPS. A methodological strategy was obtained for teacher training with the use of the Padlet tool for the development of linguistic competencies in students at the upper basic level that contributed to the development of teachers; but at the same time, it allowed us to develop a set of activities and establish their form of implementation for application to students. The evaluation of the training received by teachers with the application of the Iadov and NPS indices showed that it was useful, applicable and they recommend its generalization. It was shown that the use of the Padlet tool significantly influenced learning and the average value of the questions surveyed after the experience reached 4.01, with an average increase of 1.87 and for the dimension’s values between 1.75 and 1.98 that represent important increases.
