Abstract

The primary objective of this research is to evaluate the impact of labor flexibility on employees within the technology industry, specifically in companies that implement and market comprehensive web solutions in Guayaquil. Both employee perceptions and the policies implemented by organizations are analyzed. Through an approach combining employee surveys and interviews with leaders from companies such as Dominios Ecuador S.A.S., EcuadorDomain, Reinec, and GoDaddy—all representative of the sector—valuable insights are gathered. The findings indicate that labor flexibility is based on meeting goals and employee autonomy. These practices are essential for fostering employee motivation and commitment and are key for organizations to review and expand their flexibility policies.
