Keywords:

This study analyzes the payment processes via bank transfer and deposit in a private higher education institution in Ecuador. Operational deficiencies affecting user experience were identified, such as interface complexity, system instability, and the lack of timely feedback. A mixed-method, exploratory and non-experimental approach was applied, surveying 377 students and interviewing 8 administrative staff. The findings reveal the need to redesign the user interface, optimize technical infrastructure, and establish continuous feedback mechanisms. Improvements are proposed to enhance efficiency, security, and user satisfaction in student payment processes.
