Abstract

The research focused on Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and their implications for the training of Sociocultural Development Managers. Theoretical methods were used, with the historical background of these technologies being the main contribution, presented in terms of trends. The results revealed the necessary transformation in undergraduate education, where technology in the classroom involves more than just learning XXI century skills. Generating practices connected to the digital society provides a theoretical and methodological foundation for cyberculture as part of professional training. The proposed historical analysis seeks to demonstrate the importance of addressing cyberculture through Information and Communication Technologies, as a conceptual evolution of ICTs, by establishing the trends in their relationship with the undergraduate training process, manifested in the professional's actions within the diverse processes they encounter in the digital context.
