Family businesses are a productive structure that has been developing since ancient times and where the common objective is to make it grow. In Ecuador, 90% of the business composition comes from the family; this is because the traditional organizational culture of the nation prevents them from using managerial tools that allow them to achieve organizational excellence. Currently, these societies are in increasingly globalized and competitive markets, which has led them to the need to design strategies that allow them to measure and evaluate the goals they have set. The objective of this research was to make a strategic proposal for increasing the sustainability of family businesses in Ecuador in 2024, which allows them to maximize control of the activities of the administrative and operational processes in the medium term that facilitate management and decision-making through strategic practices and techniques based on quality policies in order to increase their competitiveness. The descriptive method was used to prepare the strategic proposal, in four steps, as a contribution to business activities that lead to increased sustainability in family businesses in Ecuador in 2024.
