Educating within families without verbal violence, is educating for peace from early childhood

Abstract

Current times increasingly require families to be prepared with resources to manage verbal violence within their homes. Based on the identification of family needs in this regard, this work is carried out as part of the research project led by the University of Cienfuegos, 'Education and Culture of Peace against Violence for Sustainable Development in School, Family, and Community Contexts.' This article aims to substantiate the need for family preparation to address the identified problem and to design said preparation. The research is being implemented at the Soldaditos de la Revolución Daycare Center in the Municipality of Cienfuegos. It began with an initial diagnosis through the application of various instruments, which allowed us to recognize the relevance of family preparation, from a peace education perspective, in addressing verbal violence.
