Las leyendas cienfuegueras como componente del patrimonio intangible local: atisbos valorativos

Resumen

El artículo presenta un acercamiento valorativo al análisis de las leyendas cienfuegueras como componente del patrimonio intangible local. Para ello se precisan aspectos como el patrimonio cultural intangible y su vínculo con lo comunitario, así como el nexo indisoluble entre la narración oral y la cultura tradicional y popular. De igual forma, se precisa un acercamiento a la importancia de las acciones socioculturales y el papel de la comunidad en la revitalización y salvaguarda del legado patrimonial (acervo). Para apoyar los juicios vertidos, los autores exponen criterios de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Educación, la Ciencia y la Cultura, respecto a las políticas culturales y el patrimonio; así como juicios de autores, teóricos y ensayistas de amplia experiencia en temas relacionados con la cultura, el patrimonio cultural, las leyendas, lo comunitario, etc.

ABSTRACT

The article presents an evaluative approach to the analysis of Cienfuegos legends as a component of local intangible heritage. This analysis requires some aspects such as the intangible cultural heritage and its link with the community, as well as the indissoluble connection between oral narration and traditional and popular culture. Likewise, an approach to the importance of socio-cultural actions and the role of the community in the revitalization and safeguarding of the patrimonial legacy (stock) is needed. To support the judgments made, the authors set out criteria of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, regarding cultural policies and heritage; as well as judgments of authors, theorists and essayists with great experience in topics related to culture, cultural heritage, legends, the community, among others.
