Abilities in the teaching of the right to offset pet’s abandon
Abstract
Pets are those that are brought up, that reproduce and that live together with people and you do not belong to the savage fauna that you live at the home with purpose to obtain company. The objective is to evaluate the impact of the teaching of the right to offset pets' abandon in Ambato, Ecuador, by means of the implementation of systems of specific abilities in the curriculum by right. The mixed metodológico that combined quantitative and qualitative methods to compile data of 200 participants' sign utilized a focus itself, including law students, professors, local authorities and citizens in general. The collection of data came true through structured opinion polls, structured interviews and focal groups, complemented with documentary analysis of study programs and previous reports. The results suggested than solo 35 % of respondents, know the bylaws of animal protection and that the 80 % considers animals' abandon like a significant problem. Besides, you believe 75 % of the participants that the teaching of the right can help to reduce this problem. Identified him five systems of abilities, nail to include in the curriculum by right: Legislation and public policies on animal protection, ethics and legal liability, litigation and real defense, education and communal sensitization.
