Editorial:"Integration of Sustainability Metrics into Scientific Production, using multi-criteria methods"
Keywords:
Sustainability, Multi-criteria analysis, Scientific publications, Delphi method, AHPAbstract
This article analyzes the need for research and its corresponding scientific publications to adopt a sustainability approach, which requires considering not only economic variables but also social and environmental variables. To implement this, a multi-criteria analysis methodology is proposed, based on tools such as the Delphi method, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), and the VIKOR method. These methods are justified both theoretically and practically, and software for their application is proposed. A case study is presented, demonstrating the application of this methodology in a circular economy model for the utilization of waste.
