The need for effective scientific communication to socialize knowledge and foster a participatory culture is critical, yet a gap persists in disseminating student research at the University of Cienfuegos (UCf). To address this, a mixed-methods study was conducted, involving surveys of 161 students and interviews with 26 leaders, which revealed dissatisfaction with current channels, low event participation, and a preference for multimodal formats like social media. Consequently, this paper proposes a scientific communication strategy for the University Student Federation (FEU) for 2026-2029. Designed to make student knowledge visible and integrate it with society, the strategy aligns university missions with innovation policies. Validated by experts using the Delphi method, it aims to leverage the FEU’s potential as a bidirectional bridge. By promoting participatory processes and youthful formats, the strategy is expected to increase student engagement by over 30 %, thereby strengthening an inclusive and sustainable scientific culture with greater territorial impact.
