AI as a tool to explore and enhance cost-effective artistic creativity in older adults

Abstract

The main objective of this research was to analyze the use of artificial intelligence (AI) as a tool to discover and enhance profitable artistic creativity in older adults. The methodology applied was based on a quantitative approach, which allowed an objective evaluation of the data related to the proposed topic. Likewise, a descriptive research was used, aimed at identifying, describing, analyzing and interpreting the essential characteristics of the observed phenomena, thus providing a deep understanding of the impact of AI in this context. This research also adopted a documentary-bibliographic approach, in order to ground the findings in existing theory. Through the results obtained, it is concluded that it is essential to encourage the discovery and development of artistic creativity at all stages of life, as art offers a unique means of personal expression and well-being. In this sense, artificial intelligence plays a crucial role, as it not only facilitates the improvement of the artistic skills of older adults, but also favors active and healthy aging by offering them new forms of creative expression. The combination of these technologies and active participation in artistic activities can contribute significantly to strengthening the self-esteem, sense of purpose and social integration of older adults.
