Abstract

Work engagement refers to the degree to which employees feel emotionally connected to their work, their organization, and their goals. Taking into account that highly committed employees tend to put in more effort and be more willing to contribute positively to the overall success of the organization, it is necessary to know the factors that influence the motivation of the workforce. That is why this research focuses on knowing the group satisfaction index in relation to work motivation in health institutions. The Iadov technique was applied, the results of which showed that the factor with the best results was remuneration, while conflict resolution and dedication to the task were considered the elements that least motivate the surveyed group. This shows that health personnel work in stressful environments, with a significant workload where conflicts often appear that are not always resolved adequately. The best group satisfaction index was found in the Boza and Veliz laboratories, while the Salomé laboratory has the worst indexes in all the dimensions observed, so it is concluded that the former feel more and better motivated with the work environment than the from the Salomé laboratory. The administration of the laboratories that were the subject of this study should consider the adoption of strategies based on the findings found.
