Link between assisted human reproduction techniques and the legal area
Abstract
Assisted human reproduction techniques have a wide impact on individuals, families and society in general. Assisted human reproduction is considered to have a legal-scientific impact. In Ecuador there have been disagreements regarding the application of these techniques. That is why the objective of the research is to expose the importance of assisted human reproduction techniques and their relationship with the Law in Ecuador. The research is qualitative, of an anthropological-legal nature. In vitro fertilization and cryopreserved embryos are analyzed as important elements of assisted reproduction. An analytical comparison was structured between the legislation regarding the subject in Ecuador and Argentina, showing a legal gap between them. The legal approach to assisted reproduction techniques must protect fundamental rights and the promotion of a just and inclusive society.
