El juicio político, sus reformas en el derecho constitucional ecuatoriano

Abstract

El juicio político es una figura política que está muy presente en las inestables democracias latinoamericanas, la presente investigación tiene como justificación la coyuntura política que atraviesa el continente Americano, particularmente Ecuador, el presente trabajo tiene como finalidad analizar el juicio político como mecanismo en la política contemporánea, es importante, ya que se revisaran las reformas constitucionales que se han dado dentro de la legislación de Ecuador. De igual forma nos vamos a referir a legislación comparada en torno al tema, destacando las múltiples aristas que se dan en la acusación dentro del juicio político, concluyéndose que el monopolio del mismo recae en el órgano legislativo, por ello empleamos una investigación cualitativa utilizando el método histórico para ver la evolución del juicio político.

ABSTRACT

The impeachment is a political figure that is very present in the unstable Latin American democracies, the present investigation has as justification the political situation that the American continent is going through, particularly Ecuador, the present work has as purpose to analyze the impeachment as a mechanism in contemporary politics, it is important, since the constitutional reforms that have been given within the legislation of Ecuador will be reviewed. Likewise, we will refer to comparative legislation on the subject, highlighting the multiple edges that occur in the accusation within the impeachment, concluding that the monopoly of it lies with the legislature, so we employ qualitative research using the historical method to see the evolution of impeachment.
