APOSTAMOS POR EL IMPACTO INVESTIGATIVO, INNOVADOR Y SOCIAL DE NUESTRAS PUBLICACIONES

El SCImago Institutions Rankings, es una medida de la influencia científica de las revistas académicas, basado en un análisis de los trabajos publicados en la base de datos Scopus, en un periodo de cuatro años, y su impacto teniendo en cuenta el desempeño con base a tres factores fundamentales: investigación, innovación e impacto social.

Nuestra Revista Universidad y Sociedad, solo después de haber estado en Scopus hace solo 20 meses, de los cuales en ese ranking solo han sido analizados los primeros números publicados en el 2019, vemos con orgullo como muchas de nuestras publicaciones han ayudado a nuestros principales usuarios escalen importantes posiciones en este Ranking aparecido en abril del 2022.

Nuestra Universidad de Cienfuegos, entra por primera vez en el ranking y ocupa el segundo lugar cubano y el primero en relación a las universidades; la Universidad de Uniandes de Ecuador, una de nuestros editores asociados ocupa la 4 posición en el ranking de las Universidades ecuatorianas; la Academia de Ciencias de Azerbaiyán, el 4to de su país; la Universidad Central de Las Villas, Cuba, el tercero; la Universidad de la Costa de Colombia, el 6 de su país, la Universidad del Estado de Hidalgo México el 18, etc. En todos estos análisis han estado presente la influencia de nuestras publicaciones. Esperamos que en el ranking del 2023 se escalen mejores posiciones con la ayuda de nuestra revista.

Felicitaciones a la Universidades y otros institutos científicos que han obtenido estos éxitos y le reiteramos las gracias por confiar en nosotros, por apostar por nuestras publicaciones y ayudar con la excelencia de las misma al ranking de nuestra revista y prestigiarla en sus países.

Esto nos compromete cada día mas con nuestros usuarios, y trabajar día tras día, todos en nuestro colectivo multidisciplinario, en mantener y mejorar la calidad de la revista y a la vez tratar de disminuir nuestras deficiencias dadas en debilidades y amenazas. Tenemos un programa de mejora continua basada en los siguientes puntos fundamentales: abrirnos cada día más al mundo ampliando la diversificación y de nuestro equipo editorial y nuestros autores, aumentar nuestras publicaciones en inglés y portugués, perfeccionar nuestra ética en todo el proceso editorial, disminución de nuestra quejas y atención permanente a las sugerencias de nuestros lectores, actualizar, según las normas internacionales más actuales, todos nuestros documentos y procesos sustantivos, buscar la superioridad y disminuir el tiempo en la revisión por pares y la búsqueda de los financiamientos adecuados para mejorar la infraestructura de nuestra editorial.

The SCImago Institutions Rankings is a measure of the scientific influence of academic journals, based on an analysis of the papers published in the Scopus database, over a period of four years, and their impact taking into account performance based on three fundamental factors: research, innovation and social impact.

Our University and Society Magazine, only after having been in Scopus only 20 months ago, of which only the first issues published in 2019 have been analyzed in that ranking, we proudly see how many of our publications have helped our main users. climb important positions in this Ranking that appeared in April 2022.

Our University of Cienfuegos enters the ranking for the first time and occupies the second Cuban place and the first in relation to universities; Uniandes University of Ecuador, one of our associated publishers, occupies the 4th position in the ranking of Ecuadorian Universities; the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences, the 4th in his country; the Central University of Las Villas, Cuba, the third; the University of the Coast of Colombia, on the 6th of his country, the University of the State of Hidalgo Mexico on the 18th, etc. In all these analyzes the influence of our publications has been present. We hope that in the 2023 ranking better positions will be climbed with the help of our magazine.

Congratulations to the Universities and other scientific institutes that have obtained these successes and we reiterate our thanks for trusting in us, for betting on our publications and helping with their excellence to rank our journal and give it prestige in their countries.

This commits us more and more to our users, and to work day after day, all of us in our multidisciplinary group, to maintain and improve the quality of the journal and at the same time try to reduce our deficiencies due to weaknesses and threats. We have a program of continuous improvement based on the following fundamental points: opening ourselves more to the world every day, expanding the diversification of our editorial team and our authors, increasing our publications in English and Portuguese, perfecting our ethics throughout the editorial process, reducing our complaints and permanent attention to the suggestions of our readers, update, according to the most current international standards, all our documents and substantive processes, seek superiority and reduce the time in peer review and the search for adequate financing to improve the infrastructure of our publishing house.
