Análisis de las dificultades en el proceso de implementación de protocolos de bioseguridad para reapertura de establecimientos turísticos en Tungurahua post Covid-19

Resumen

A partir de la pandemia presentada en el año 2020 dentro del país, se implementaron protocolos de bioseguridad elaborados por el Ministerio de Turismo a los establecimientos turísticos de la provincia de Tungurahua, en donde se analizó las dificultades en el proceso de implementación de los protocolos para la prevención de contagios ante el Covid-19 en las instalaciones involucradas en la actividad turística con el fin de salvaguardar la salud y autocuidado de los diferentes turistas o visitantes. El tipo de investigación que se empleó fue descriptiva transversal y tuvo un enfoque cualitativo – cuantitativo con técnicas de investigación como: revisión bibliográfica, encuesta y entrevista. Se recopilo información de los resultados de las fichas de observación (check list) aplicado por el Ministerio de Turismo a los establecimientos turísticos y del cuestionario online que consto de cinco preguntas donde se pudo conocer el porcentaje de aplicación en los establecimientos de alojamiento, operación, alimentos y bebidas, complejos turísticos, quintas de eventos y recepciones, artesanal y agroturismo; de los cuales el 69% consideran muy eficaz la implementación de protocolos de bioseguridad; mientras que el 24% no ha aplicado, con relación a las medidas de bioseguridad lo más difícil al momento de la implementación fue: counter con mampara trasparente acrílico, plástico o vidrio, adaptación de los medios digitales, zona de vestuario, dispositivos de control de temperatura y piso señalizado marcando el distanciamiento. Con estos resultados se identifica la importancia de capacitar a los representantes de los establecimientos para la implementación de protocolos de bioseguridad.

ABSTRACT

Since the pandemic presented in the year 2020 in the country, biosecurity protocols developed by the Ministry of Tourism were implemented in tourist establishments in the province of Tungurahua, where the difficulties in the process of implementing protocols for the prevention of Covid-19 infection in the facilities involved in the tourist activity were analyzed in order to safeguard the health and self-care of the different tourists or visitors. The type of research used was descriptive transversal and had a qualitative-quantitative approach with research techniques such as: bibliographic review, survey and interview. Information was gathered from the results of the observation cards (check list) applied by the Ministry of Tourism to tourist establishments and from the online questionnaire consisting of five questions where it was possible to know the percentage of application in the establishments of lodging, operation, food and beverages, tourist complexes, events and receptions, handicrafts and agrotourism; of which 69% consider the implementation of biosecurity protocols very effective; while 24% have not applied, in relation to the biosecurity measures the most difficult at the time of implementation was: counter with transparent acrylic, plastic or glass partition, adaptation of digital media, dressing area, temperature control devices and marked floor marking the distance. With these results, the importance of training the representatives of the establishments for the implementation of biosafety protocols is identified.
