The scientific production is an indicator in the quality of processes in a university institution. The objective was to analyze the scientific production of the Autonomous National University of Huanta (UNAH) in database Scopus. The adopted method was of nature bibliometric and retrospective, it was centered in the representation of the scientific production in database Scopus of the UNAH.  You proceeded the analysis of documents published in the database Scopus from the year 2019 up to December of the year 31 2023. Among the results one has that, the scientific production of the UNAH was low in the years 2019, 2020 and 2021, but it increased significantly in 2022 and 2023. The Venezuelan Magazine of Management published most of the documents of the UNAH (9, quartile Q3, h-index 13), while Plant Ecology stood out with a h-index of 113. The main areas were Social Sciences (21,09%) and Agricultural and Biological Sciences (12,24%). Most of the documents were scientific articles (64), continued by documents of Session (8) and revisions (2). English Prevailed as publication language, with single 25 documents in Spanish and none in other languages. You conclude that, the scientific production and the indicators that it measures the impact level in the last years have been increased significantly.
