Office training: improvement of administrative performance in hospitals of Guayaquil

Abstract

Training in office tools for administrative staff in public health is essential to optimize key processes for the management of key areas of coordination and logistics. This significantly contributes to improving both operational efficiency and service quality. The objective of this article is to analyze the importance of training in the basic use of MS Word and MS Excel tools for the administrative staff of a hospital in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador. The research was developed under a quantitative approach, with a descriptive scope. The survey was used as a data collection technique, using a questionnaire as the main instrument. The results obtained highlight that training in office tools, such as Word and Excel, is highly relevant for hospital employees. These competencies not only strengthen job performance, but also improve collaboration and facilitate efficient information management.
