Se define la justicia como armonía social, es decir, como la búsqueda de un punto de equilibrio para que todos los ciudadanos se sientan conformes con su forma de vivir en relación con la de los demás. En tanto la ética es entendida como el conjunto de costumbres y normas que dirigen o valoran el comportamiento humano en una comunidad La Ética Jurídica se encarga del estudio de los valores del ser humano, lo bueno y lo malo, de la moral y el Derecho, y se identifica dentro del ámbito jurídico, siendo una exigencia de los profesionales en emitir una opinión más, acerca de las causas; donde se trata de emitir juicios sobre la maldad o bondad. El conjunto de principios y normas jurídicas de un Estado constituye su ordenamiento jurídico. El derecho guarda una íntima conexión con la ciencia política, la economía, la sociología y la historia, y es el centro de problemas humanos importantes y complejos, como concretar el significado de ideas como igualdad, libertad o justicia. Presenta características que lo caracterizan, siendo normativo, bilateral, coercible, con pretensión de inviolabilidad; se manifiesta, en tanto, como un sistema y posee una proyección de justicia. La investigación de campo o empírica puede ser cualitativa o cuantitativa y se encarga de explorar el derecho en relación con su entorno social; vale decir, “la eficacia de la norma, la realidad sociojurídica y las fuentes materiales del Derecho La presente edición de Universidad y Sociedad tiene el honor de publicar los artículos más relevantes de los talleres Justicia, ética y derecho, efectuados en los eventos IV Congreso Internacional de Investigación Científica e Innovación Tecnología y I Congreso Internacional de Investigación Científica, Educación, Innovación y Desarrollo Sostenible, efectuados en Manta, Ecuador y Trujillo, Perú, respectivamente. Son auspiciados por Centro de Capacitación y Gestión del Conocimiento (COGECON), la Asociación Latinoamericana de Neutrosofía y otras instituciones. En ellos se analizan las teorías que sustentan los principales aspectos de ciencia jurídica latinoamericana, principalmente, diagnostica y evalúa el estado regulatorio de los diversos fenómenos sociales, utilizando métodos de investigación propios de las Ciencias Jurídicas que permiten emitir propuestas de mejora. Como siempre nuestra revista está abierta al debate sobre tan importantes temas para la promoción protección y mejora de los derechos económicos, sociales y culturales y de la diversidad cultural de la región.

Justice is defined as social harmony, implying the search for a point of balance so that all citizens feel comfortable about their lifestyle compared to that of others. Ethics, on the other hand, is the set of customs and rules that regulate and evaluate human behavior in a community. Legal Ethics deals with the study of human values, good and bad, morality and law, and is identified within the legal field as a requirement of professionals when expressing opinions on the good or bad and when it comes to make judgements on good or evil. The set of legal principles and rules of a State constitutes its legal system. Law is intimately connected with political science, economics, sociology and history, and is at the center of important and complex human problems, such as determining the meaning of ideas like equality, freedom and justice. It has the following characteristics: normative, bilateral, coercive, with a claim to inviolability; it manifests itself as a system and has a projection of justice. Field or empirical research can be qualitative or quantitative and explores the law in relation to its social environment, that is to say, “the effectiveness of the norm, the socio-legal reality and the material sources of law”. This edition of Universidad y Sociedad has the honor of publishing the most relevant articles presented at the Justice, Ethics and Law workshops, held at the IV International Congress of Scientific Research and Innovation and Technology and the I International Congress of Scientific Research, Education, Innovation and Sustainable Development, held in Manta, Ecuador and Trujillo, Peru, accordingly. These were sponsored by Centro de Capacitación y Gestión del Conocimiento (COGECON), la Asociación Latinoamericana de Neutrosofía (the Latin American Association of Neutrosophy) and other institutions. The exchanges addressed the theories that support the main aspects of Latin American legal science; the regulatory status of different social phenomena was diagnosed and assessed using research methods specific to the Legal Sciences that allow the issuance of proposals for improvement. As usual, Universidad y Sociedad encourages the open debate on such important topics for the promotion, protection and improvement of economic, social and cultural rights and the cultural diversity in the region.
