Actitud hacia la investigación en estudiantes de pregrado y posgrado en universidades estatales de Lima, Perú.

Resumen

El objetivo del estudio tuvo como propósito analizar la actitud hacia la investigación en estudiantes universitarios de educación pertenecientes a dos universidades estatales de Lima-Perú. La investigación se enmarcó dentro del paradigma positivista, con un enfoque cuantitativo a través de un diseño no experimental, descriptivo, comparativo, con la cooperación de 330 estudiantes, de los cuales 247 (74.8%) se encuentran estudiando el pregrado y 83 (25.2%) están en el posgrado, asimismo; 202 (61.2%) son mujeres y 128 (38.8%) son hombres. La aplicación del instrumento de recolección se realizó a través del envío masivo de un formulario de carácter anónimo y voluntario a través de un WhatsApp grupal en línea. Los resultados obtenidos evidenciaron que existe una actitud neutra hacia la investigación en ambas instituciones universitarias; asimismo, se demuestra que existen diferencias estadísticamente significativas en la actitud hacia la investigación según el nivel de estudios, según la universidad de procedencia, así como según el género de los estudiantes. Se concluye que existe una actitud de ambivalencia e indiferencia por parte de los estudiantes universitarios de pregrado respecto a su participación en actividades y escenarios investigativos, así como por el desarrollo de la tesis de grado, situación que se mantiene a nivel de los estudiantes de Posgrado.

ABSTRACT

The objective of the study was to analyze the attitude towards research in education university students belonging to two state universities in Lima-Peru. The research was framed within the positivist paradigm, with a quantitative approach through a non-experimental, descriptive, comparative design, with the cooperation of 330 students, of which 247 (74.8%) are studying undergraduate and 83 (25.2%) are in graduate school, as well; 202 (61.2%) are women and 128 (38.8%) are men. The application of the collection instrument was carried out through the massive sending of an anonymous and voluntary form through an online group WhatsApp. The results obtained showed that there is a neutral attitude towards research in both university institutions; Likewise, it is shown that there are statistically significant differences in the attitude towards research according to the level of studies, according to the university of origin, as well as according to the gender of the students. It is concluded that there is an attitude of ambivalence and indifference on the part of undergraduate university students regarding their participation in research activities and scenarios, as well as for the development of the degree thesis, a situation that is maintained at the level of Graduate students.
