Caracterización y desafíos de la cultura investigativa en dos universidades estatales de Lima, Perú

Resumen

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo evaluar la cultura investigativa a través de la percepción de los estudiantes de Pregrado y Posgrado en dos universidades estatales de Lima, Perú. El estudio se presenta dentro del enfoque metodológico cuantitativo con un diseño no experimental, transeccional, correlacional, comparativo en una muestra de tipo probabilística, estratificada y proporcional. Se contó con la participación de 324 estudiantes a quienes se les aplicó un cuestionario desarrollado en línea mediante el formulario Google Form que fue validado a través del juicio de expertos. Los resultados obtenidos demuestran que la cultura investigativa está en proceso de desarrollo en ambas universidades. Por otro lado, se demuestra que existe una correlación positiva, alta y estadísticamente significativa entre sus componentes: actitud investigativa y cultura investigativa (Rho=0,772; p<0,01); concepción investigativa del currículo y cultura investigativa (Rho=0,865; p<0,01); gestión investigativa y cultura investigativa (Rho=0,891; p<0,01); comunicación investigativa y cultura investigativa (Rho=0,865; p<0,01). Se concluye que la actitud investigativa, concepción investigativa del currículo, gestión investigativa y comunicación investigativa se relacionan significativamente con la cultura investigativa.

ABSTRACT

The present study aims to evaluate the research culture through the perception of undergraduate and graduate students in two state universities in Lima, Peru. The study is presented within the quantitative methodological approach with a non-experimental, transectional, correlational, comparative design in a probabilistic, stratified and proportional sample. A total of 324 students participated in the study and were administered a questionnaire developed online using the Google Form, which was validated through the judgment of experts. The results obtained show that the research culture is in the process of development in both universities. On the other hand, it is demonstrated that there is a positive, high and statistically significant correlation between its components: investigative attitude and investigative culture (Rho=0.772; p<0.01); investigative conception of the curriculum and investigative culture (Rho=0.865; p<0.01); investigative management and investigative culture (Rho=0.891; p<0.01); investigative communication and investigative culture (Rho=0.865; p<0.01). It is concluded that the investigative attitude, investigative conception of the curriculum, investigative management and investigative communication are significantly related to the investigative culture.
