The study was conducted on the integration of circular economy practices in Ecuadorian ventures, aiming to analyze the adoption of sustainable strategies and the capacities, resources, and barriers that influence their implementation across the stages of pre-entrepreneurship, active entrepreneurship, and post-entrepreneurship. The research employed a mixed-methods approach that combined structured surveys with document review and qualitative analysis of the characteristics of the ventures, allowing for the identification of technical knowledge levels, access to financing, and participation in collaborative networks. The results indicated that social and environmental motivation was present across all groups of entrepreneurs, although its practical application depended on access to technical tools and external support. It was observed that ventures in operation and post-entrepreneurship stages developed more concrete circular strategies, while pre-entrepreneurs required training and guidance. The study demonstrated that the circular economy can be implemented progressively and adaptively across different economic sectors, providing guidance for educational policies, engagement programs, and corporate sustainability strategies. Strengthening training, technical advising, and collaborative ecosystems can facilitate the transition from sustainability intentions to effective action, contributing to the development of more resilient and responsible business models.
