System of activities based on teaching resources for the subject of Language and Literature

Abstract

Teaching resources are a current perspective for improving teaching performance. The objective of the research was to develop a system of activities based on the use of teaching resources for the subject of Language and Literature that contribute to developing skills of reasoning, analyzing, communicating ideas, critical thinking, creativity and facilitating meaningful learning. The research was developed with a quantitative approach, applied, experimental and correlational. The steps resulted: Theoretical framework with the application of theoretical methods; diagnosis carried out in the institution with empirical and statistical methods (Cronbach's Alpha and R squared); development of the activity system and verification of the results through the application of the Net Promoter Indices, Iadov and the Torgeson Model; as well as, when contrasting the results of the checklist before and after. A system of activities was obtained where the variables studied increased their average values ​​from 1.71 to 4.00, with notable increases in motivation, academic performance and significant learning. The application of the Iadov and NPS indices to experienced teachers showed that they considered the proposal useful, applicable and were satisfied with its design. The Torgerson model demonstrated agreement among the experts.
