Tools for preparing case files in the prosecutor's office or courts

Abstract

In the administration of justice, the preparation of case files is essential to ensure due process and uniformity in prosecutorial and judicial actions. This article examines the instruments and technical formats used in various jurisdictions, including Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, and Cuba, for the preparation and management of case files in prosecutors' offices and courts. In addition, a methodological design is presented to improve the collection of accurate and reliable information about defendants.
