Evaluation of the process of production of the cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) in the variety INIVIT P - 2007 at green house

Abstract

The production of the cultivation of the cucumber should concentrate all its efforts on elevating the productivity and agricultural yields maintaining the quality of the obtained product and the satisfaction of its clients with the obtaining of earnings. The investigation to improve the process of production of the cultivation of the cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) in the variety INIVIT P - 2007 in the Unit Pupa of Green House through the evaluation of the main indicators and inadequacies of the productive process was carried out. It was determined the main indicators and inadequacies of the productive process of the cultivation of the cucumber in three cultivation lots, from their transplant to the 20 days until concluding their crop to the 70 days, to evaluate as the handling agro technical it could influence in the indicators, number of healthy fruits for plant, longitude of the fruit, diameter of the fruit, mass fresh average of the fruit , number of fruits damaged by plant, agricultural yield, incidence of plagues and diseases and quality of the final product. A plan of actions was elaborated for the improvement of the process of production of the cultivation of the cucumber. The main productive indicators of the cultivation of the cucumber are demonstrated in the variety INIVIT P-2007, agricultural yields of 1.8 to 2 kg/m2 and as main productive inadequacies the first floor to half percentage of cucumber quality of first of 52 to 55%. Finally a plan was elaborated of having measured correctives for the improvement of this process.
