Términos de Redalyc y Redib para el manejo de la información en las investigaciones científicas

Resumen

Los sistemas de información online influyen en la búsqueda de contenidos para referenciar en las investigaciones científicas, en particular las bases de datos académicas denominadas Red de revistas científicas en América y el caribe, España y Portugal y la Red Iberoamericana de innovación y conocimiento científico permiten ampliar información y ubicar revistas latinoamericanas en distintas etapas de indización. Es por ello, que el objetivo del artículo es demostrar la utilidad de ambos sistemas para los investigadores universitarios, no sólo porque permiten la búsqueda de revistas latinoamericanas en cualquier disciplina u área científica, sino por el manejo de sus indicadores para de esta manera influir en el fortalecimiento teórico y práctico de nuevas investigaciones. En el escrito se muestra una metodología de tres etapas para aplicar métodos que lleven a reafirmar servicios a usuarios en ambas plataformas y discernir cuales son las herramientas y posibilidades que aún no se reconocen para una correcta utilización; finamente se presenta una lista de posibilidades en ambos sistemas para los investigadores universitarios.

ABSTRACT

Online information systems influence the search for contents for referencing in scientific research, more specifically, this is the case of academic databases such as the network of scientific journals in America and the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal; and the Ibero-American Network of innovation and scientific knowledge, which allow to disseminate information and locate Latin American journals in different stages of indexing. Therefore, the objective of this article is to demonstrate the usefulness of both systems for university researchers, not only because they allow the search of Latin American journals in any discipline or scientific area, but also because of the management of their indicators, thus influencing the theoretical and practical strengthening of new research. The paper shows a three-step methodology to apply methods that lead to reaffirm services to users in both platforms and to discern which are the tools and possibilities that are not yet recognized for a correct use; finally, a list of possibilities in both systems for university researchers is presented.
