Aspectos de éticas sobre la vacunación contra el COVID-19

Resumen

Una de las aristas de la pandemia del Covid-19 es su aspecto ético. El presente artículo se propone mostrar la relevancia de la dimensión ética que forma parte inalienable de la batalla contra la pandemia del Covid-19 a través del proceso de vacunación y delimitar sus componentes esenciales. Se emplearon como métodos el análisis documental de contenido para buscar y valorar críticamente los trabajos académicos relacionados con el tema, así como el analítico-sintético para interpretar los materiales científicos existentes al respecto y delimitar los componentes de esta dimensión. Como resultados se precisó que la dimensión ética de la vacunación contra el Covid-19 se expresa en los procesos de producción, distribución como de implementación de dicha vacunación. Es necesario atender y priorizar las cuestiones éticas para poder enfrentar la pandemia, cuyo éxito no depende sólo del aspecto sanitario o económico

ABSTRACT

One of the edges of the Covid-19 pandemic is its ethical aspect. This article aims to show the relevance of the ethical dimension that is an inalienable part of the battle against the Covid-19 pandemic through the vaccination process and to delimit its essential components. Documentary content analysis was used as a method to search and critically evaluate the academic works related to the subject, as well as the analytical-synthetic method to interpret the existing scientific materials on the subject and to delimit the components of this dimension. The results showed that the ethical dimension of vaccination against Covid-19 is expressed in the processes of production, distribution and implementation of such vaccination. It is necessary to address and prioritize ethical issues in order to face the pandemic, the success of which does not depend only on the health or economic aspects.
