La cultura ambiental en los profesores universitarios
Abstract
En el siguiente trabajo se brinda una nueva definición de cultura ambiental a partir de un estudio realizado en la Universidad de Cienfuegos, el cual pretende verla como proceso y resultado de las influencias formativas medioambientales que permiten preparar al profesor universitario para comprender, explicar y orientar la actividad cognoscitiva, práctica, axiológica (o valorativa) y comunicativa, orientada a la conservación del medio ambiente de sus estudiantes. Para ello, se determinaron dimensiones sustentadas en una concepción articulada de los modelos proceso-resultado, indicadores, criterios a evaluar e instrumentos para ser presentados a profesores, directivos y especialistas de la universidad para corroborar en la práctica el desarrollo alcanzado por los profesores universitarios de la cultura ambiental.

ABSTRACT
In the following work, a new definition of environmental culture is provided based on a study carried out at the University of Cienfuegos, which aims to see it as a process and result of the environmental formative influences that allow the university professor to understand, explain and orient the cognitive activity, practical, axiological (or evaluative) and communicative, oriented to the conservation of the environment of its students. To this end, dimensions were determined based on an articulated conception of the process-result models, indicators, criteria to be evaluated and instruments to be presented to professors, managers and specialists of the University, in order to corroborate in practice the development achieved by university professors of environmental culture.
