Community media covers 90% of rural areas in Ecuador and are entities that can contribute to the development of their localities, the interaction and development of young people. The objective of the research is to study the digital content broadcast by the community media of Corape and the incidence of youth participation in their programming schedules. The approach is qualitative, exploratory, analytical and descriptive, with an area of development in social communication, especially in digital media grouped in Corape. Theoretical methods are used in the construction of the theoretical framework of the research and empirical methods such as observation, documentary review, interviews and surveys are used in carrying out the diagnosis. The Delphi Method is applied to demonstrate the consensus among a group of experts about the preliminary results obtained. The existence of reservations in the digital presence and the use of the platforms was concluded; limited content and time allocated to young people; insufficient participation of young people leading programs and in the time assigned to them; low levels of audience and interactivity with this group and limited strategies developed to reverse this reality.
