LA FORMACIÓN Y DESARROLLO DE LOS DIRECTIVOS ACADÉMICOS EN LAS INSTITUCIONES DE EDUCACIÓN SUPERIOR CUBANAS.

Abstract

Las Universidades, en las condiciones en que se desarrolla como institución social, tiene retos que no puede soslayar sin el peligro de desaparecer. En la Universidad de Cienfuegos ha crecido el número de personas que cumplen funciones directivas en los procesos académicos, siendo en ellos donde se concentra la mayor responsabilidad de conducir a la institución al cumplimiento de su misión y el logro de la visión. Sin lugar a dudas, estos directivos académicos, tienen ante sí la tarea de conducir en los procesos de formación del profesional, así como la formación continua de los profesionales y de los directivos que ocupan responsabilidades en todas las instituciones de la sociedad, por ello precisan poseer cualidades basada en el saber, saber actuar, saber estar, querer actuar y poder actuar, es decir componentes fundamentales de la competencia. En tal sentido, a partir del estudio de la problemática de la formación de directivos y el personal docente, se diseño un modelo de gestión para la formación sistémica y estratégica del personal docente, la cual se aplica y se resaltan los resultados obtenidos en el proceso. ABSTRACT The Universities, in the conditions in which it is developed like social institution, have challenges that cannot avoid without the danger to disappear. In the University of Cienfuegos the number of people who act directive as in the academic processes, being in them has grown where it concentrates the greater responsibility to lead to the institution to the fulfillment of his mission and the profit of the vision. Without doubt, these academic managers, have before himself the task of leading in the processes of formation of the professional, as well as the continuous formation of the professionals and the managers that occupy responsibilities in all the institutions of the society, for that reason need to own qualities based on the knowledge, knowledge to act, to know how to be, to want to act and to be able to act, that is to say fundamental components of the competition. In such sense, from the study of problematic of the formation of managers and the educational personnel, design a model of management for the systemic and strategic formation of the educational personnel, who is applied and the results obtained in the process are emphasized.
