LAS UNIVERSIDADES DE AMÉRICA LATINA Y EL CARIBE Y EL AVANCE DE LAS SOCIEDADES A TRAVÉS DE LA INNOVACIÓN Y LA GESTIÓN TECNOLÓGICA.

Abstract

El desarrollo de cualquier sociedad ha estado asociado durante siglos al avance de sus Universidades .En los tiempos más distantes la educación de los ciudadanos más preparados en las diversas disciplinas y especialidades, aseguraba, directa o indirectamente, el auge de la sociedad a través de la cultura, la medicina, la ingeniería u otras áreas del saber. Gradualmente las Universidades fueron saliendo de su claustro y extendieron su influencia través de otras formas que superaban la simple formación de profesionales. Las Universidades comenzaron a difundir y promover la cultura, con lo que se completó el ciclo de preservar, crear, difundir y promover la cultura como fin mismo de toda institución universitaria. En este desarrollo la Investigación científica adquirió sesgo propio como función sustantiva de la Universidad; necesidad y resultado, que definitivamente la diferenció de cualquier otra institución educacional. In the most distant times the education of the citizens more preparations in the diverse disciplines and specialties, assured, directly or indirectly, the height of the society through the culture, the medicine, engineering or other areas of the knowledge. Gradually the Universities were leaving their cloister and extended their influence traverse of other forms that surpassed the simple formation of professionals. The Universities began to spread and to promote the culture, and so the cycle was completed to preserve, to create, to spread and to promote the culture like same aim of all university institution. In this development the scientific research acquired own slant like substantive function of the University; necessity and result, that it differentiated definitively it from any other educational institution.
