LA UNIVERSALIZACIÓN DE LA EDUCACIÓN SUPERIOR Y EL AVANCE DE LA GESTIÓN TECNOLÓGICA: LA EXPERIENCIA CUBANA.

Abstract

La Revolución Cubana desde 1959, se propuso como estrategia de la Educación Superior, extender la misma a las diferentes regiones, capas sociales y sectores de la economía, hasta lograr la universalización de la universidad. Este proceso se ha ido consolidando en las diversas etapas por las que ha transitado, expresada en el incremento de matrícula, la diversificación de los tipos de cursos y modalidades de estudio y la ampliación de la aplicación del principio rector de la educación superior cubana de la vinculación del estudio con el trabajo. En la etapa actual la célula principal de este proceso es la Sede Universitaria Municipal (SUM), nueva unidad organizativa que dirige el proceso, aglutina las fuerzas y coordina la participación de los factores sociales a ese nivel. ABSTRACT: The Cuban Revolution from 1959, seted out like strategy of the Education Superior, to extend the same to the different regions, social layers and sectors of the economy, to obtaining the universalization of the university. This process has been consolidated in the diverse stages by which it has journeyed, expressed in the increase of matriculation, the diversification of the types of courses and modalities of study and the extension of the application of the governing principle of the Cuban education superior of the entailment of the study with the work. In the present stage the main cell of this process is SUM, new organizational unit that directs the process, agglutinates the forces and coordinates the participation of the social factors at that level.
