Alternativa tecnológica de seguridad comunitaria en tiempos actuales

Resumen

Las alarmas comunitarias instaladas en los barrios, al ser activadas indican sobre una emergencia, un posible robo o incidente de inseguridad en el sector, pero lamentablemente al escuchar la alerta los vecinos hacen caso omiso o desconocen la causa que origina, lo cual genera incertidumbre en los habitantes, por otro lado existen empresa privadas que presentan alarmas que varían sus propuestas en precios y tecnología, que son costosas tanto en su mantenimiento, como en su instalación; por tal motivo se desarrolló un prototipo de sistema integrado de seguridad comunitaria. La metodología utilizada fue el método inductivo que contribuyó a estudiar el funcionamiento de algunos tipos de alarmas comunitarias, el método deductivo que permitió examinar las diferentes funciones e identificar requerimientos para el desarrollo de la aplicación, la investigación descriptiva para indagar sobre la situación actual y que tienen en común los sistemas de alarmas tradicionales. Las herramientas utilizadas en la recolección de información son la encuesta y la entrevista. La alternativa tecnológica desarrollada permitió una implantación a bajo costo y mediante la notificación de una emergencia, alertar a todos los ciudadanos y la UPC más cercana para una rápida intervención, generando un mayor grado de confianza por los integrantes del barrio y así ayude a prevenir los robos domiciliarios.

ABSTRACT

The community alarms installed in the neighborhoods, when activated indicate an emergency, a possible robbery or incident of insecurity in the sector, but unfortunately when hearing the alert the neighbors ignore or do not know the cause that originates, which generates uncertainty in the inhabitants, on the other hand there are private companies that present alarms that vary their proposals in prices and technology, which are expensive both in their maintenance and installation; for this reason a prototype of integrated system of community security was developed. The methodology used was the inductive method that contributed to study the operation of some types of community alarms, the deductive method that allowed examining the different functions and identifying requirements for the development of the application, the descriptive research to inquire about the current situation and what traditional alarm systems have in common. The tools used in the collection of information are the survey and the interview. The technological alternative developed allowed a low-cost implementation and through the notification of an emergency, alerting all citizens and the nearest UPC for a quick intervention, generating a greater degree of confidence by the members of the neighborhood and thus helping to prevent home burglaries.
