Actitud hacia la vida y expectativa de futuro en estudiantes de educación secundaria

Resumen

El objetivo de este estudio fue explicar la influencia de la actitud hacia la vida en la expectativa de futuro. La presente investigación de carácter correlacional y corte transversal contó con una muestra de 90 estudiantes de la Institución Educativa Particular San Vicente de la Barquera y 70 estudiantes del Colegio Nacional de Aplicación UNHEVAL, 2019. Los instrumentos que nos permitieron realizar la investigación fueron la escala de esperanza de Herth y la de Expectativas de Futuro. Se ha realizado un análisis de correlación mediante la prueba de Rho de Spearman. Los resultados confirman mayoritariamente que el nivel de expectativas fue alto (87,5%) y el 76,3% manifestaron alta actitud hacia la vida. Por otro lado, los resultados obtenidos mediante la correlación de Rho de Spearman nos confirmaron relación significativa entre la actitud hacia la vida y las expectativas de futuro (p≤0,000). Asimismo, se halló relación significativa entre las expectativas de futuro y las dimensiones de optimismo/soporte (p≤0,000) y agencia (p≤0,000). Se concluye que la actitud hacia la vida y las expectativas de futuro de los estudiantes de educación secundaria del Colegio Nacional de Aplicación UNHEVAL y la Institución Educativa Particular San Vicente de la Barquera guardan una influencia estadísticamente significativa.

ABSTRACT

The objective of this study was to explain the influence of attitude towards life in the expectation of the future. The present correlational and cross-sectional research included a sample of 90 students from the San Vicente de la Barquera Private Educational Institution and 70 students from the National College of Application UNHEVAL, 2019. The instruments that allowed us to carry out the investigation were the Herth scale of hope and that of Future Expectations. A correlation analysis was performed using the Spearman's Rho test. The results mostly confirm that the level of expectations was high (87.5%) and 76.3% showed a high attitude towards life. On the other hand, the results obtained through Spearman's Rho correlation confirmed a significant relationship between the attitude towards life and future expectations (p≤0,000). Likewise, a significant relationship was found between future expectations and the dimensions of optimism / support (p≤0,000) and agency (p≤0,000). It is concluded that the attitude towards life and future expectations of secondary education students of the National College of Application UNHEVAL and the San Vicente de la Barquera Private Educational Institution have a statistically significant influence.
