Sistema informático para la clasificación bibliográfica en el Centro de Recursos para el Aprendizaje y la Investigación (CRAI)

Resumen

El presente artículo de investigación, describe un sistema informático que lleva por nombre: Sistema Informático para la Clasificación Bibliográfica en el Centro de Recursos para el Aprendizaje y la Investigación (CRAI). Fue desarrollado en el Centro de Recursos para el Aprendizaje y la Investigación (CRAI) de la Universidad de Cienfuegos Carlos Rafael Rodríguez y está orientado al desarrollo de la informatización del Proceso de Clasificación Bibliográfica que se realiza por el Sistema de Clasificación Decimal Dewey. Es una aplicación web que permite manipular la información antes mencionada para mejorar y facilitar el trabajo de los especialistas de la entidad, reduciendo considerablemente el tiempo de procesamiento de los datos que a su vez repercute positivamente en el funcionamiento del centro. La herramienta contribuye a la eliminación de los errores que se comenten a diario, permitiendo gestionar la información del proceso de clasificación bibliográfica de manera rápida y confiable.

ABSTRACT
The article deals with a computer system that is untitled: Computer System for the Bibliographic classification in the Center of learning and research (CRAI). It was carried out in this center at the University of Cienfuegos Carlos Rafael Rodriguez. It aims at the development
of the computerization of the process to bibliography classification which is carried out by the Dewey Decimal System. This web application permits to handle information of the Dewey Decimal System in order to facilitate the specialist’s work. It also reduces the time of data processing. This tool is important to eliminate any error of everyday life, permitting to manage the bibliographic classification process in a faster and more reliable way.
