LA AUTOPERCEPCIÓN DE LA SALUD MENTAL Y LA SATISFACCIÓN VITAL DEL ADULTO MAYOR EN LA MONTAÑA Y DEL LONGEVO DE PROCEDENCIA RURAL EN EL TERRITORIO CIENFUEGUERO

Los análisis sobre la ancianidad adquieren un volumen e importancia considerable. Cada vez más personas están interesadas en el fenómeno por las consecuencias múltiples que genera. Este se produce de forma paulatina y en él intervienen, la fecundidad, la mortalidad y las migraciones, variables que en acción combinada en el tiempo determinan el crecimiento y la estructura por edades de la población, de suma importancia para la planificación económica y social de cualquier país, en nuestro caso para el contexto de la montaña. Son múltiples los factores que han ido trascendiendo en el tiempo, siempre que se refiera a la salud mental y la satisfacción de la vida, de este grupo etáreo, por parte de diferentes autores, dentro de ello, la autopercepción se ha vuelto un indicador útil y adecuado para conocer el estado de salud de la población adulta mayor y para el establecimientos de políticas de acuerdo al contexto en que se desarrolla el estudio. Se profundiza en la autopercepción de la salud mental y satisfacción vital en un grupo de adultos mayores de la zona montañosa de la provincia de Cienfuegos y se establecen relaciones con longevos de procedencia rural.

ABSTRACT

The analysis on the elder people involve an outstanding range of capacity and importance. Due to the multiple consecuences it generates, more people are interested on this phenomenum much more every time. This phenomenum is produced in a slow way and some important factors are involved in it, such as: fertility, mortality and migrations. These variables, which in a combined action throughout the time, determine the growing up and the structure by ages of the population, which is of great importance for the social and economical planning to any given country, and in our case, for the mountain context. There are multiple factors that have been coming out in time, whenever they are referred to the mental health and life satisfaction of this aged group by different authors, and together with it, the selfperception has become a very useful sign and very appropiate to measure the health state of the elderly adult population and to the politic establishment according to the context on which the study is carried out. We go deep on the selfperception of the mental health and lively satisfaction in an elderly adult group located in the mountain area of the Cienfuegos Province and we set relationships with long-lived people coming from the rural areas.
