EL IMPACTO DE LAS TECNOLOGÍAS DE LA INFORMACIÓN Y LA COMUNICACIÓN EN LA FORMACIÓN DE INGENIEROS.

Resumen

Las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación, las TIC’s, revelaron su carácter innovador a mediados de los 70, se difundieron rápidamente durante los 80 y se impusieron generando un nuevo paradigma productivo que, durante los años 90, desplegó las características esenciales de su estructura. Varios autores interpretan estos cambios como una tercera revolución industrial: una innovación tecnológica incorporada al modo de producción transforma las relaciones económicas y sociales y, como consecuencia, también transforma el sistema cultural que afecta. El ordenador personal ocupó el lugar de la innovación. La microelectrónica y la informática fueron la plataforma para responder a las siempre ilimitadas necesidades humanas y, al mismo tiempo, proveyeron la infraestructura para desencadenar un proceso irreversible en la forma de producir bienes. ABSTRACT The technologies of the information and the communication, the TIC's, revealed their innovating character in the middle of the 70, they spread quickly during the 80 and they prevailed generating a new paradigm productive that, during years 90, unfolded the essential characteristics of its structure. Several authors interpret these changes like one third industrial revolutions: an incorporated technological innovation to the production way transforms the economic relations and social and, consequently, also it transforms the cultural system that affects. The personal computer occupied the place of the innovation. Microelectronics and computer science went the platform to respond to the always limitless human needs and, at the same time, they provided the infrastructure to trigger an irreversible process in the form to produce goods.
