Abstract

Se presentan un nuevo modelo para el cálculo a los costos de producción del cacao Clonal CCN-51, mediante la investigación de campo en la Parroquia Bellamaria del Cantón Santa Rosa de la Provincia de El Oro. Este procedimiento permite a los estudiantes y pequeños agricultores comprender de manera sencilla y precisa los costos incurridos por medio de la identificación de las 4 actividades desarrolladas en esta producción que son claramente definidas: preparación y nutrición del suelo, mantenimiento de plantaciones y cosecha, en cada una de ellas se realizan subactividades que han sido registradas y costeados para obtener el costo total por hectárea, las mismas que han sido separadas por periodos permitiendo conocer la inversión por año hasta llegar a los 5 primeros años, de esta manera identificar la sostenibilidad de esta producción en las diferentes haciendas de esta localidad que les permita un crecimiento económico sostenido a los habitantes del sector.

ABSTRACT

A new model for the calculation of production costs of Clonal CCN-51 cocoa is presented, through field research in Bellamaria Parish of Santa Rosa Canton of the Province of El Oro. This procedure allows students and small farmers to understand in a simple and precise way the costs incurred through the identification of the 4 activities developed in this production that are clearly defined: preparation and nutrition of the soil, maintenance of plantations and harvest, in each one of them are carried out sub-activities that have been registered and costed to obtain the total cost per hectare, which have been separated by periods allowing knowing the investment per year until reaching the first 5 years, in this way to know the sustainability of this production in the different haciendas of this locality that allow sustained economic growth for the inhabitants of the sector.
