La conservación como alternativa para el desarrollo del turismo o el turismo como contribución a la conservación
Abstract
Este artículo pone al debate el término “sostenible” y su complejidad, permite romper paradigmas al momento enfrentar el proceso establecer estrategias de desarrollo local, abordando nuevos enfoques basados en la cosmovisión indígena y su lectura de la naturaleza como agente de desarrollo y riqueza para ellos y los grupos ancestrales. Este término es nuevo y es usado en los distintos discursos políticos, el abuso del concepto ha creado falsas expectativas en el imaginario de las comunidades, que a corto plazo no consiguen la sostenibilidad.

ABSTRACT
This article puts to the debate the term "sustainable" and its complexity, allows breaking paradigms when facing the process to establish local development strategies, approaching new approaches based on the indigenous worldview and its reading of nature as an agent of development and wealth for them and the ancestral groups. This term is new and is used in the different political discourses, the abuse of the concept has created false expectations in the imaginary of the communities, which in the short term do not achieve sustainability.Keywords:Local development, ecotourism, indigenous worldview, identity.
