Cybersecurity praxis of Moodle educational platforms at the University of Cienfuegos
Abstract
The management of the Moodle Educational Platform (PEM) provides multiple good experiences, due to its versatility, diversity of features, resources for the orientation and development of a personalized Distance Education, as well as the high reach of the same due to the ease of access to its contents from very diverse locations. In the course of the management and exploitation of the PEM at the University of Cienfuegos (UCf), unpleasant experiences were detected, associated to their collapse due to insufficient storage space. This paper addresses the cybersecurity experiences associated with this problem and provides recommendations to mitigate them.
