Communication strategy to encourage sports activity and recreation in the community: Milagro, Ecuador
Abstract
To maximize its effectiveness and reach, a comprehensive communication strategy to promote recreational activity in Milagro, Ecuador, must address several key fronts. Milagro, a city famous for its cultural and community dynamism, faces the challenge of promoting healthy habits and improving the quality of life through recreation. This strategy aims to encourage education, motivation and the promotion of active participation of all sectors of the community, from young people to older adults.
Social cohesion must be inclusive and accessible using a variety of channels, including local media, social media, community events and collaboration with educational and sporting organizations. create a visual identity and clear messages that highlight the benefits of sport for mental, physical and social health to capture community interest and participation. The design of diverse and attractive sporting programs and events, adapted to different ages and skill levels, is essential to ensure active and sustained participation. Confidence and motivation can be built among residents by collaborating with local sports figures, testimonials of success and participants.
