TICs applied in administrative processes of institutions of the public sector of the GAD of the canton Salcedo

Abstract

The technological applications applied to the administrative process is a fundamental element in the administrative process of the public sector of the municipal GAD of the Salcedo Canton. Information technologies have become a support tool for public management, through which we can have up-to-date information, manage large volumes of information, communicate immediately and help in the work of the administration. Communication technologies have allowed a great change within the organization, since through the use of these they have been able to optimize time and resources, helping to make decisions in a timely manner in solving problems.

A systematic review has been carried out in bibliographic databases in the business and institutional field, they are essential to improve their processes and increase their productivity, quality, and control; It is necessary to point out that using information and communication technologies guarantees to improve the organization's processes as long as the staff is trained in managing technological resources, as it is also vitally important to have knowledge of the internal and external processes of the organization. Organization in order to determine the technological needs that the organization presents, for which it is necessary to plan the technological resources and, in this way, to implement the computer systems according to the needs that the organization presents.
