Abstract

The text that is shared presents the first findings in the form of considerations produced around the doctoral research: "Analysis of the elements that allow the construction of the object of teaching philosophy in secondary education in Colombia". These findings are obtained from the documentary review of national guidelines, which show that the teaching of philosophy at this level of studies is fundamentally generated from the consideration of the object of learning and the development of competences, which, finally, leads to the fact that philosophy itself is not taught, but rather, in the best of cases, the teaching of philosophy as such, in the best of cases, the corpus of philosophy, or, as evidenced in the most recent institutional documents of the last decade, an impulse towards the development of competences in critical reading and argumentative writing, which have led to the loss of the object of teaching, in several occasions it is considered as a complementary and subsidiary subject of the formation.
