Edu-communication as a strategy in the recovery of ancestral and popular knowledge
Abstract
The present research focuses on edu-cocommunication as a communication strategy in the recovery and preservation of popular and ancestral knowledge in children from the “La Hacienda” Higher School, in the City of Barranquilla. During her study, she identified the importance of rescuing and disseminating the community's traditional knowledge to enrich children's education and strengthen their cultural identity. In this research, the importance of edu-communication as a tool for the recovery and preservation of popular and ancestral knowledge in children was analyzed, as well as the most effective communication strategies for its implementation in the educational context were identified. Through a qualitative approach, interviews were conducted with experts in education and communication, as well as a survey of fifth grade students, to understand their perceptions and experiences in relation to this knowledge.
