Contribución de la carrera de contabilidad y auditoría al desarrollo productivo de la Provincia de Santa Elena.

Abstract

Los pocos contadores que existían antes de la creación de la Universidad, la Península de Santa Elena, eran de otras provincias. Con la creación de esta universidad surgió la oportunidad de contribuir mediante la carrera de contabilidad y auditoría al desarrollo productivo de la región. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo evaluar la contribución de la carrera de contabilidad y auditoría al desarrollo productivo de la provincia de Santa Elena. Para el desarrollo de la propuesta se realizó un estudio de las legislaciones vigente que sustenta la creación de la carrera de contabilidad y auditoría. Se aplicó una encuesta donde participaron profesores, estudiantes, administradores y gerentes propietarios. Como resultado de la aplicación del instrumento se pudo identificar el impacto de la carrera, así como un conjunto de recomendaciones que permiten un mejor impacto en la región.

ABSTRACT

The few accountants that existed before the creation of the University, the Santa Elena Peninsula, were mainly from other provinces. With the creation of this university, the opportunity arose to contribute through the accounting and auditing career to the productive development of the region. The objective of this research is to evaluate the contribution of the accounting and auditing career to the productive development of the province of Santa Elena. For the development of the proposal, a study of the current legislation that supports the creation of the accounting and auditing career was carried out. A survey was applied where teachers, students, administrators and owner managers participated. As a result of the application of the instrument, it was possible to identify the impact of the race as well as a set of recommendations that allow a better impact in the region.
