Perfil de capacidades científicas de los docentes de investigación en facultades de educación en Colombia.

Abstract

El objetivo del presente texto es analizar la correlación entre las capacidades investigativas y las funciones sustantivas de los docentes que orientan cursos de investigación en facultades de educación en el departamento de Antioquia. Para su desarrollo, se optó por un enfoque cuantitativo mediante un método empírico-analítico. La muestra fue de 240 docentes a los cuales se les aplicó un cuestionario de perfil de docentes investigadores. Entre los resultados más sobresalientes, se pudo demostrar que Las capacidades investigativas (rho= 0.45, p<0.001) y las funciones sustantivas (rho= 0.35, p<0.001) correlacionan significativa y positivamente, considerando el valor de referencia menor de 0.05. El coeficiente de determinación R2, fue de 0.43, por lo cual se acepta la hipótesis. Por tanto, se concluye que, las capacidades investigativas, es una variable que define e influye directamente en el desarrollo de las funciones sustantivas de los docentes de investigación. Se recomienda diseñar un plan que fortalezca los procesos científicos en las licenciaturas a través del análisis de las condiciones que posibilitan u obstaculizan su desempeño eficaz de la figura del docente investigador.

ABSTRACT

The objective of this text is to analyze the correlation between the investigative capacities and the substantive functions of the teachers who guide research courses in faculties of education in the department of Antioquia. For its development, a quantitative approach was chosen using an empirical-analytical method. The sample consisted of 240 teachers to whom a research teacher profile questionnaire was applied. Among the most outstanding results, it was possible to demonstrate that investigative abilities (rho= 0.45, p<0.001) and substantive functions (rho= 0.35, p<0.001) correlate significantly and positively considering the reference value less than 0.05. The coefficient of determination R2 was 0.43, for which the hypothesis is accepted. Therefore, it is concluded that research capabilities are a variable that defines and directly influences the development of the substantive functions of research teachers. It is recommended to design a plan that strengthens the scientific processes in the degrees through the analysis of the conditions that enable or hinder their effective performance of the figure of the research teacher.
