Estrategia educativa para la orientación nutricional en pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo II

Abstract

En la presente investigación se parte de la idea de identificar los aspectos importantes de la orientación nutricional en pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo 2. Para tratar el tema, se apoya en una búsqueda biográfica con el fin de analizar las diferentes aristas ofrecidas a la temática por parte de los investigadores del tema. Se utilizaron los siguientes métodos: del nivel teórico el Inductivo – Deductivo, Analítico –Sintético, dentro de los empíricos se encuentran la encuesta, la revisión de documentos, además se empleó la estadística descriptiva e inferencial. Se expone como objetivo aplicar una estrategia educativa para potenciar la orientación nutricional en pacientes con diabetes mellitus tipo 2 de Guayaquil, en la República del Ecuador. Los resultados obtenidos en la presente investigación, se pudo constatar la validez y confiabilidad de los mismos, pues existió diferencia significativa que avalan esta afirmación.

ABSTRACT

This research is based on the idea of identifying the important aspects of nutritional counseling in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. In order to deal with the topic, it is based on a biographical search with the purpose of analyzing the different aspects offered to the subject by the researchers of the topic. The following methods were used: Inductive - Deductive, Analytical - Synthetic at the theoretical level, survey, document review, and descriptive and inferential statistics. The objective is to apply an educational strategy to enhance nutritional counseling in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in Guayaquil, in the Republic of Ecuador. The results obtained in the present investigation, it was possible to confirm the validity and reliability of the same, since there was a significant difference that supports this statement.
