Abstract

El presente trabajo aborda la evolución que han tenido las bibliotecas con motivo del progreso científico-técnico y el desarrollo de las Nuevas Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones (TICs) que han incidido directamente en estos centros. Se exponen algunas consideraciones teóricas sobre los conceptos de tecnología, de información y lo referido a las Nuevas Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones (TICs), como aspectos puntuales a tener en cuenta para analizar el avance de las bibliotecas en la actualidad.

ABSTRACT
This paper discusses the evolution experienced by reason of libraries was technical scientific progress and development of the New Technologies of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) that have directly affected these centers. Were exposed Some theoretical considerations on the concepts of technology, information and referral to the New Technologies of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), as point to consider in analyzing the progress of libraries today issues.
